Rio Declaration is crucial
-rio declaration was adapted at high level
-it is an environment-development dialogue
-remarkable we came to agreement on 27 principles
-clear attempt to shift at global level
Rio+20
-Re-afirming the rio principle. that is the starting point.
-however, we see dilusion,
-concern is on equity CBDR. miss represented as a way for developing countries to get out of doing more.

-giving a mandate office of high commissioner to commit to Rio
expert on Human Right on Environment
Joint effort on encorporating right-based approach, accountability
should be a mechanism that could monitor SD issues.

-Costa Rica, Moldiv, very critical
-Rio principle is gounded in human rights

-UN is going into new area. Green economy is not defined. people are speaking different languages. Some countries are cautious about it.
